Shauq ka parcham-e-argawaN khol do

Khet khalihaan mein bhookh hi bhookh hae, laakh galiyon mein bass aag hi aag hae

Maekadon mein mehaz pyas hi pyas hae, iss mein kya raaz hae raazdaaN khol do

KehkashaN se parre manzil-e-shauq hae, pankh apne ae umar-e-rawaaN khol do

Baagh ka bhed hare ek jaane hae tu, bhed ham pe bhi ae baagbaan khol do

Umr kat’ti rahi, waqt “chalta” raha
